BUILT ON PASSION
Will Work for Clothes was created from my love of retail, fashion, and design. My graphic design career began with brand development for both large & small businesses and has grown in immeasurable ways.

PEOPLE OFTEN ASK:
‘How did you get the name, Will Work for Clothes?’
When I began freelancing in 2002, it was to offset my more regimented schedule as an in-house graphic designer at a large healthcare company.
Freelancing allowed the freedom to choose my clients, projects and interests. I quickly found a niche in the local Minneapolis fashion world and created a slew of labels for some really talented people.
There were times when I accepted projects knowing there wasn’t a huge budget. But did so, because I believed in the person behind the brand and want to see them succeed. For some of these projects, I literally did work for clothes — accepting all forms of fashion: from handmade leather purses to one-of-a-kind cocktail dresses.
Fast forward to 20 years later, and now my barters involve haircare and pilates lessons.
Basking in the freedom of full-time freelance design for the last six years, has made every day gloriously different.
I’ve gained clients from all walks of life: artists, realtors, web designers, fitness professionals, hairstylists, writers, and doctors. I’ve joined in-house teams for days, weeks or months to help fill gaps when companies are short-staffed or their queue brimming with work. Despite the vast differences in my clientele’s specialties — one thing they all have in common is: love and passion for what they do. And, that makes my job truly fulfilling & exciting everyday.
